Thank you for your interest in Excel Adventist Academy. Excel Adventist Academy accepts students in accordance with the general policies of the Southwest Region Conference requirements for admission and as space allows. We admit students of any religion, race, color, gender, or national/ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities for students of the school. Students applying for entrance pledge themselves to maintain Christian standards, to attend regularly scheduled religious services during the school day, and to give due respect to spiritual matters.
Our school is not equipped for the purpose of offering special education, so we are unable to accept students who have serious physical, scholastic, or behavior problems.
Age Requirements
In keeping with the Texas Education Agency, children must meet the age requirements, no exceptions. The age requirement for eligible students entering Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1. Students entering the First Grade must be six years of age on or before September 1. A certified copy of the student's birth certificate is required to verify the age. Along with these age requirements, Excel Adventist Academy will accept Pre-Kindergarteners who are three years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year and fully potty trained and who are four years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year.
