Dress Code/Standards

 

 

 

Wearing uniforms enhances school pride, unity, and community spirit.

 

Additional guidelines:

 

  • Athletic shoes and PE shorts(blue/black; 2 inches above the knees) and white t-shirt tops are required for PE in grades 3 - 8th Monday through Thursday Any student NOT attired in the for P.E. uniform will receive a zero for that day.

  • A green cardigan (i.e., sweaters) with the EAA emblem are worn; however, the principal's approval is REQUIRED for other options.

  • Shirts and Blouses must be tucked inside pants or skirt everyday while school is in session.

  • FRIDAY DRESS CODE  Students may wear EAA yellow Shirt, or yellow polo, jeans, sneekers.

  • Wednesdays - School uniform "inspection"or "dress code check."

 

Uniform Infractions:

  • 1st infraction – Phone call and infraction letter

  • 2nd infraction – Parents will bring appropriate attire or pick up student

    The following  are NOT appropriate at EAA and will be subject to an infraction.

  • Frayed/ripped jeans (no skin should be seen)  
  • Bandannas, wave-rags, etc. 
  • Flip-flops or open back shoes.
  • Ill-fitted attire or "skin tight" or sheer clothing or belt tails that dandle.
  • The dress code of EAA  is based upon a biblical philosophy of modesty, and clean attractive clothing to promote a good self-image and a better environment for learning; therefore, students are encouraged to dress in harmony with the basic principles of health, modesty, and appropriateness.
